Hello all Ross here!

Terminator: Genisys, which hits July 2015, has been shrouded in secrecy with a very tight set and very few images being leaked online which in the days of smart phones is pretty much unheard of and welcome if you ask me. In fact we’re about 10 months out and have very little officially confirmed news regarding Genisys which is a “soft reboot” of the Terminator series.

Expect that news to be rectified in the near future.

Let’s not forget that it is also the first part in a trilogy of films, the plan being to shoot the sequels back to back a la Back to the Future 2 and 3.

The films have to be shot and released in this truncated time period because the rights will revert to series creator Director/Writer James Cameron at that time.

So what was Paramount Pictures big announcement earlier today?

Stating that they have a Trilogy well planned, and have great confidence in Genisys director Alan Taylor and what he is preparing to unleash on us all- Paramount Pictures has announced release dates for both Genisys sequels!

Currently going by the working title of Terminator 2 the first sequel has a release date of May 19th 2017.

On June 29th, 2018 comes the second sequel with a working title of, you guessed it, Terminator 3.

For the record I have yet to find the actual Paramount Press Release but once I do I’ll put a link to it at the bottom of this article.

All in all this is an awesome time to be a Terminator fan!

Hasta la vista!
